Re: Mixed teams/players

I'm not disputing that. Recent pictures from their World Cup qualifiers show all their players who started the match to be white.
Exactly. Whoever did the painting didn't bother with the detailed research that you decided to carry out.

Re: Mixed teams/players

Opinions of the term vary amongst New Zealanders. Some find it highly offensive ......
Interesting views on a word that appears in the NZ national anthem.

Re: Mixed teams/players

It's come straight from the manufacturer, not from eBay or anywhere like that.
Nevertheless, my earlier comment stands. Someone made the decision to have those skin tones in the team.

Re: Mixed teams/players

Ah right.

Think it's a paint job by someone who's never seen an NZ soccer team in the flesh.

Re: Mixed teams/players

Bit surprised at that - soccer's generally a pakeha game.

How "black" is the skin tone ?

Re: Help...

Mark's right - they were designed for flats. Priced at 2/5 if I remember right.

Someone with a contemporary price list can check that.

The box was pretty much the same price as the team ........

Re: Whats was this Box for?

Looks like a postage outer for a C100 team. Does a team box fit in it snugly ?

Not Subbuteo as such - just bought in from some generic supplier.

Some of them are really good. The 6, 17, 35 for instance.

Re: OHW JOB LOT....

I dunno, Skell - given their age, they're not too bad.

The 48 wants a tidy up but it looks very good.

Re: Subbuteo in Spain?

I've played in Murcia - just south of Alicante - and I've played against Barcelona. But they're both a fair way from you in Gibraltar.

Re: Fouls

People talk a lot of bollocks about formations. FISTF games don't all finish 0-0. There are actually more goals scored with so-called "defensive formations" than your traditional 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Set up with too many players up field and you spend too much time fetching the ball from your own shootin...

Re: Fouls

Of course it isn't possible to totally replicate Association Football on the small pitch, but as more recent developments have shown, loopholes in the rules are generally exploited, and then propagated across the playing community (such as as 8-0-2 formations or a player running the full length of ...

Re: Fouls

Thank you. Can you explain a logical reason why? As I have written, I can't see any reason for the changing of the rule, even though it appears to have been applied in tournaments for over fifty years. It's because there were too many free kicks in the game. TSPA Rules (best rule set ever) penalise...
