Re: Goodison Park 1985

ed, look at plastrut for beams etc and plastikard for a4 sheets of plastic. raid model railway shops as subby is 00 guage, you will be amazed where bits will turn up. Scratchbuilding is a art form but very satisfying

Re: Palmerston Park

that looks braw, a good model of Palmerston, pretty accurate. The Zeugo stands do a good job as the new stand, Okay the Terreagles street end should be a wee bit angled but not going to fault you for using Subby terraces. Love the Portland end with the grassy bank behind it. Aye 9.5 out of 10

MK is a brand of electrical hardware (fuse boxes, sockets etc) so might be a promotional item

Re: Banbury Rovers FC Stadium

just paint on some boxers or y-fronts and banbury can be the hardest firm in the country as they always go nude, even better sprinkle some snow on the terraces as these lads are fackin well 'ard. No Stone Island for these boys

Re: Floodlights

just thinking would 4 or 6 of these give a decent spread, okay 240v and not the most attractive looking, you would need a substantial (by subby standards) pylon of metal to hold them. going by scale 10mm dia steel or copper pipe would do onto a half brick base to stop them toppling over, you could r...

Re: Floodlights

I have been looking into this, using battery powered LED's is a pain, I am looking to modify the subbuteo pylons to take led's fed from a transformer. thing is a subbuteo pitch is a large area and leds' dont give enough throw to the centre of the pitch. reckon a minimum of 3 pylons each side could d...
