Top spin players

Hi guys,

I recently got the hang of skipping the ball with my moulded HW figures. I also have a Feyenoord HW team but do not like playing with them. Now I am thinking of buying a topspin Feyenoord HW team.

I wonder how hard or easy is skipping the ball with those basic HW top spin figures.

Cheers.

Re: pitch mounting....again!

That looks like the latest version of the Subbuteo pitch. Do you like it? And what kind of players do you use on it?

Cheers

Re: Heavyweight Best Copy

Thanks for the photo Ralph, that base looks pretty good. The edge is rounded and the bottom of the base is a little hollow. That's the way I like it.

Re: Heavyweight Best Copy

Hi guys,

Can someone post a picture of the bottom a heavyweight non moulded Top spin base (not the Dynamo dux but the regular) for me? I may be interested in buying a Feyenoord team but the shape of the bottom of the base I find very important when it comes to playability.

Cheers

Re: Difference in bases heavy weight players

Ok guys I see. I guess I will look further for another box of Feyenoord players from the seventies. Perhaps I wil be more lucky with the bases. Thanks for the replies.

Re: Teams HW

I do not know. I have never played them . I have played HW and lightwights and some modern flat based stuff. When it comes to old school I prefer molded heavy weights to play
And they look much better

Re: Teams HW

I've never liked LWs either (probably my age), but I'm beginning to have a sneaking liking for the occasional zombies that I pick up in joblots :O
Do you mean you like the look of them or you like to play with them ?

Difference in bases heavy weight players

Hi guys, I have this Feynoord Rotterdam team . I notice that the edge of the bottom of the base is far more edgy and less rounded than for example the bottom of the base of that bleu molded heavy weight player which base is far more rounded at the edges of the bottom and a bit smaller Now I do remem...

A musical hero has gone . I grew up with the music of that guy.

Strange enough in the morning the day his death was anounced I played Moonage daydream on the guitar without knowing the died.
