Re: OSC OS (Old Subbuteo Club Old Sods)

Thumbs up! Sounds like a great day. The atmosphere is tangible through the pictures. Wish Subbuteo was more popular here in Germany.

Re: Old Subbuteo computer disk

I own the Amiga version and I remember it playing it once or twice when I was a teenager. From my point of view it‘s virtually unplayable. It‘s about finding the correct angles and the point at which you hit the playing figure and the strenght of the hit are decided by a good timed left click on the...

Re: Your favourite item in your collection

Currently my favourite is a 1953-54 Super Set due to the fact that it is virtually mint as it came in the cardboard box it was originally dispatched in at the time. For me the plain cardboard box with the Subbuteo Sports Games sender is more valuable than the game itself.

Ref. 1, red bases white inners, tatty

As a long-time Liverpool supporter who lives in Berlin I went to yesterday 's pre-season friendly between Hertha BSC and Liverpool. After the game I bumped into a group of life-size Subbuteo figures, unfortunately unboxed and no ref.-sticker

Re: Stadion An der Alten Foersterei

Any ideas how to recreate the facade to put it on the back of the Subbuteo Grandstands? I considered laser cut wood but I need to "draw" the details in Corel Draw (or equivalent), i. e. wall stones, windows, doors, etc.

Re: Stadion An der Alten Foersterei

Thank you very much! The beams were laser cut from wood. I made a masterpiece out of plastic sheet, sent it to a model maker who constructed it in Corel Draw and had 'em laser cut. The beams were then sprayed in red and metal. Two terrace stands are screwed together holding the beam in place. The ho...

Stadion An der Alten Foersterei

Hi Everyone Although it's not 100 % complete I thought it's time to share pictures of my stadium with you. Maybe it'll spur me on to work on it again as things have slowed down a bit after reaching the current state. There are a few details to add and lots of half painted supporters to finish. I con...

Re: Who Remember's Buying Your Very First Team...

Seems I'm a bit younger than most of the forum members. And I'm from Germany which explains why I was craving for any Subbuteo as a child. The Subbuteo heyday was already over in Germany when I was introduced to the game by a friend around the time of the World Cup 1986. Subbuteo was elusive in Germ...
