I bought a Ref: 358 Paris SG for £22 Buy it Now only to have my purchase refunded minutes later without an explanation.

After a couple of message the response was he meant to list it as 250 Euros instead. Never had this happen before but guessing there's not much you can do about it.

Re: Best base for young children?

Hi Ian, The 'Hasbro' one piece bases might be a good option for you - the last ones officially made by Subbuteo before it all went overseas. https://www.subbuteoworld.co.uk/hasbro-subbuteo-base-one-green-solid-1-piece-base-1990-s They're are predominantly flat so when polished glide nicely but you a...

Re: How long do you give someone to pay before relisting?

Anyone had any experience with 'tonlas-0' (Tony Last, address Norfolk)? I sold two LW teams for about £30 combined which apparently didnt get there - waited a couple of weeks. Admittedly I didn't send these recorded but have never had an issue before and just had to give a refund. Of course could be...

Re: How long do you give someone to pay before relisting?

Just raise as unpaid item with eBay, he's unlikely to pay, so you can then relist after a few days following eBay clearance. I find its best to raise as unpaid item after minimum period of 4 days (I think), then genuine folk pay immediately, and non payers don't keep you waiting for too long. Regar...

How long do you give someone to pay before relisting?

What's the etiquette on re-listing an item if someone hasn't paid may I ask?

I sold a team to giochil_6 (Max Abet from Napoli - maybe he's on this forum?) on 1st April and despite messages haven't had payment yet..

Cheers.

quite a few listed in the catalogues pre-l/w era - I note that the sage of Sussex has missed a couple and I only flicked through two catalogues
Cool, which ones? HW or LW era?

Re: Eastern Bloc/ Iron Curtain club sides

There's lots that had existing similar kit ref numbers, i looked into the whole Iron Curtain league system deeply season by season years ago quick example my local team Presov Tatran then a (Czechoslovakian) Slovak First div side (like now i might add) would be 36, they had the kit in 76 another wo...

Eastern Bloc/ Iron Curtain club sides

I'm quite curious about the club teams from the USSR/ satellite states represented by SSG. Presumably because of lack of exports to those places they didn't go to town on them but the representation seems to be quite hit and miss with some very obscure teams noted with more obvious ones omitted. In ...

Re: Non League teams

Cambridge are ref 21 in the 71-2 catalogue ..I've not got 72-3 to hand but they are ref 6 by 73-4 typed label same as my New Burnley released in 72-3 They are ref 21 in the 72-73 as well which corresponds very well with the Historical Kits listings so guessing the typed box one is after '73. Maybe.

Re: Non League teams

As far as I know those were the only 2 non league clubs listed in the catalogues. Of course Bradford (ie Bradford PA) ref 36 and Barrow ref 18 were League clubs who later dropped out (same for Workington and Southport). I have seen a version of Hereford Utd that came in a typed named box and did no...

Wow never seen before, love that you can hover over to see the back as well.

Good effort on the homemade catalogue, puts me off a bit that they've only stated one team for each kit, but fair play for doing it.

HW Catalogue

Came across this on Ebay, looks like it might be similar to the LW catalogue/ book. Has anyone seen it before/ got a copy? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subbuteo-CATALOGO-COMPLETO-a-colori-dei-Ref-delle-squadre-HW-degli-anni-70/302662037453?hash=item4678102fcd:g:UGwAAOSwIgNXpMJR For those like me who d...

There were numerous done as special orders for various stockists, Rhyl, where I lived, was always done for Lightfoots, a big toy shop back in the day.
Nice, what did a Rhyl kit look like?!

Non League teams

Just wondering if anyone knows what non-league sides were officially represented by Subbuteo through the years? I see Bishop Auckland teams knocking around and I think there was also Barnet as 'Southern League' on an old catalogue, were there any others?

Re: Goodison Park 1985

Astonishing. Love the fact its mainly standard subbuteo stands just heavily modified to nigh on perfect Goodison. Can we expect to see spectators actually standing on the terraces? I always get a little sad when people's gorgeous terraces are populated by sitters! Given all subbuteo fans were in th...
