Re: Old Toy & Subbuteo Shops

I bought a LW 665 Luton Town, 1988 Littlewood's Cup Winners from Northfields Model Shop a while back and when I opened the box there was a small card from Patrick's Toys in Fulham. I did a search on Google and it seems like it's still in business. I guess that the Subbuteo is long gone though.

Re: Paul lamond vs lw figures

I can't get decent photos with the camera in my phone, but the LW's are bigger. About 2mm taller, so it kind of looks like men v. U16s.

Re: Brookfield Solo League: Season 09

Your setup and approach is interesting.

What effect does finances and transfers have on the teams?

I have to add that my nickname is a bit misleading. 'Saint' comes from my favourite team in rugby League being St. Helens. When it comes to football I'm QPR.

Re: Brookfield Solo League: Season 09

Thanks BPR! I've been checking the website at least five Times today.

When you play your league, do previous achievements show in any way, such as extra flicks or similar?

How does incidents such as bookings and injuries mid-game come about?

Re: Waddingtons table soccer

And the later version was simply called 'Cup' and was endorsed by Swedish international striker Ralf Edström.

I remember seeing figures from this version at a friends house.

The same seller has three of these games for about £17 and a new action by another seller has a starting bid of 10 pence.

Re: Waddingtons table soccer

This game seems to have been sold under license in Sweden by a well known company called Alga and under the name 'Cup Final'.

One seller on Swedish Ebay currently have six or seven for sale priced between £22 and £45 depending on condition.

Re: Set with card figures and the rules in Swedish

Thanks for replying. I'll get some more detailed photos.

Given that the players are glued, is there any good way to remove them and still being able to get replacements?

Re: Set with card figures and the rules in Swedish

After examining the contents closer after posting the photos last night, I have to correct my initial post. The players seem to be the earlier type of celluloid. I received the set on Thursday and just went by the description made by the seller when I started the topic on Friday. Beginners mistake.....

Swedish celluloid set

I found an old set on Swedish ebay, which is quite rare as the game never caught on here. The set was advertised as being in worn condtion and no pitch was included (it might be one of those sets without one), but out of interest I wanted to have look at it and was the only bidder. The set arrived y...

Artwork scans

Hi, I have a couple of plain boxes that I keep my team and accessories boxes in. To make them look better I would like to have some Subbuteo artwork on them. Does anyone one have scans of the late 60's and 70's box sets what they would be willing to share? I'm thinking in the style of the pictures w...
