Re: LADIES SUBBUTEO

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/subbuteo-celebrates-womens-fa-cup-12469746#ICID=sharebar_twitter For all collectors of everything Subbuteo, could be worth a few pennies in years to come. Interesting that it says HASBRO are the makers, as a Spanish firm has the licence and has been producing s...

Re: Which team is it?

Anywhere and everywhere was hard work with Burnley until recent times .... not exactly angelic our away followings , that 2-2 draw at Maine Road was a classic day out City equalised in injury time the prelude to a lot of trouble in Rusholme and back to the city centre , I think City played Millwall...

Re: Subbuteo "treasure trove found" in attic....

The 'Twenty is Plenty' scheme should be used for all visiting fans imo... http://www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/category/twentys-plenty/ Totally agree - Reading have implemented this but none of the other clubs have bothered although some offer reciprocal arrangements. We did this with Ipswich for £25 ...

Re: Subbuteo "treasure trove found" in attic....

RE Leeds pricing. We're being charged £37 for a midweek game live on Sky. Wolves are subsidising the ticket price to £30 (ie paying £7 towards the ticket).
Great gesture although doesn't address the key problem being Leeds ticket pricing policy.
Must impact the home fans as well

Re: Subbuteo "treasure trove found" in attic....

As a Wolves fan, we are living the dream at the moment. Even if we bottle it (it has happened before) the football we have played this season is the best I have seen in 40 years and the strategy of only signing young players on long contracts helps the FFP challenge as their value should increase, e...

Re: Floodlights - Help needed please

I have the step by step guide that was written a few years ago which the author kindly emailed to me to convert my 4 floodlights. My brother in law did the conversion for me and now each light has 10 LEDs which sit behind the individual lens. They also run off the mains via a normal adaptor PM me yo...

Re: PLYMOUTH PROGRAMME

That programme cover has bought back so many memories of coming home from football in the late 70s to read Roy Of The Rovers which was always delivered with our Saturday night paper. That advert was in it nearly every week for around 6 months.

Original below for posterity !

Re: County Ground - work very much in progress

Banbury. I have brought off Amazon - link below. Top two are Ok although I find them a bit more fiddly to paint because of the need to do flesh, and they are not as detailed as the Subbuteo/Zeugo figures. You also need to file a few rough edges off them as well, but the effort is worth it. Great job...

Re: Help Required. HW team identification ?

Thanks a lot for all the interest and comments. Really helpful - glad I posted now ! I've had a closer look at the Scotland team and there is red specks of paint on the bases and the trim is far from neat. Unreferenced box as well. Seller did say that his son (who they had belonged to) had got a cou...

Thanks a lot for your help - much appreciated. Have attached a few others. Fairly common but good condition. QPR 2nd/ Feyenoord ref 85 AC Milan ref 57 Scotland ref 318 England c138 version but missing one player (was replaced with a ref 154 I think). If anyone has a spare player for this set please ...

Help Required. HW team identification ?

Long time follower but first post. Great to see the enthusiasm still alive and kicking ! Rekindled my interest after a 30 year gap and now started collecting again. Fell lucky at local car boot and picked up job lot of heavyweights. However am at a loss at the team pictured. I think it may be a 327 ...
