Southampton, Blackpool, Swindon, Celtic, Norwich, Liverpool, still sorting out If I have Wolves/Oxford/or Unknown Team. Divorce nex...

Re: Collectors' Fair Sunday 14th October

His name is Anthony Gilligan.... now I want to make it clear it may not be him, but AG?...it’s possible.I don’t know if he has a middle name or even if he is ginger. He rejoices under the name of vintagesubbuteosparesshop or something like that and is a serial repainter.I and no doubt many others ha...

Re: Figures and painting

Most miniature model paints are fine, all have pros and cons. It is personal preference I suppose. Many Subbuteo painters will use Humbrol enamel paint as this is what the original figures were painted with. LPM and Santiago are good places to buy figures. Was there only one type of white used on t...

Broken Player

I have a player with a broken arm (h/w base). I can get a replacement player but on a different base, is there a fool proof method for removing a player from a base and swapping with a replacement. I'm thinking how to break to glue from the player bar and the base??

Thanks

Re: County Ground - work very much in progress

Banbury. I have brought off Amazon - link below. Top two are Ok although I find them a bit more fiddly to paint because of the need to do flesh, and they are not as detailed as the Subbuteo/Zeugo figures. You also need to file a few rough edges off them as well, but the effort is worth it. Great jo...

Re: Stadium's

Yeah I'd say about 4000 to fill up that stadium but you can get away with about 2000 to 2500. Just get a few mini flags and have them cover bits of the terraces to take up space and give the effect of ultras going all out to support their team ;-) Perfect thanks, although it's tan terracing for me....

Re: Stadium's

A "complete" Subbuteo stadium (16 grandstands and 4 corner terraces) will take around 6000 spectators, but 3000 will definitely do the job, my friend. Put them in randomly and they tend to fill up quicker. Thank you......I'm going for 6 Grandstands and 10 single story terraces, so hopefully will ne...

Re: Welcome to the Forum

Just thought I'd pop on and say Hi. Loved the game my whole life, just never really played enough recently. Have decided to build a stadium, have terracing and stands just need boarding and spectators. Been working with Cayne from Bespoke tables who's helped loads and will be sorted soon hopefully. ...
