Re: Subbuteo Rugby Players

You can get football style figures and rugby bases from both Paul (Lloydie) at World Subbuteo Rugby who stocks Top Spin figures or Mark Parker (santiago table soccer) who stocks.....wait for it...santiago figures.

I am not aware of any new blank 'chunky' style rugby figures out there.

Re: E BAY PURCHASE.

Thanks for the local knowledge on Innsbruck regd mate. It has been a chequered history for football in Innsbruck . Mergers & clubs folding. As one of Austria's major cities and the flagbearers for the Tirol region I have always felt Innsbruck has under achieved. As you say Regd after the merger with...

Re: Collectors' Fair Sunday 14th October

I had been looking forward to this but then realised I am in London on Sunday. I am sure those who do go will enjoy it as always.

Will try and make it to the next one in April/May.

Rugby Kits question

Over the last 3 or 4 years i collected the entire R1- R26 range of rugby teams in either football style or chunky style figures....or both! Didnt intend to (as I am not a massive rugby fan) but you know how collecting goes..... Got the kickers as well before you ask... just need an original St Helen...

Re: What goals do you recommend?

Got to agree with Zulu.

They aren't cheap but are fantastic. £40 for the Tournament set. Obviously more durable than plastic.

Of the original Subbuteo ones I have always liked the C130 World Cup goals but these are prone to bending if you have the nets tight.

Re: Loft tidy

Those team boxes promise some delights inside. Love those old typed name boxes. Impressive looking collection mate. My collection is also resigned to the loft sadly. At the last count 12 large storage boxes full of teams (including replicas) 10 football box sets from modest club editions to a World ...

Restoring Floodlights

I am looking to restore some old Subbuteo floodlights I have. They are the classic white pylons from the 70's. I have purchased some of the LED lights to fit them from Hogron's site which are on the way to me. The pylons I have are discoloured in the main to varying degrees over time. What I would l...

Re: Where to buy?

Yeh Ebay is probably the best place for the volume and variety. At least if LW's are your thing you havent got as much of a problem with repaints and non genuine stuff. If it was HW's Ebay can be a minefield to navigate for the less experienced collector. And the Subbuteo Fair at Sheffield usually h...

Re: 3D design of a Subbuteo grandstand and scoreboard /PA

Hi Ronald. Just been looking back on this thread and visited your website www.subbuteostadium.com I have to say the quality of the work looks outstanding. I have been aware of 3d printers though must confess dont really know how they work. Your results are quite spectacular. I have to congratulate y...
