Re: display

Strange to cease the auctions, but probably got a very good offer. Although on one lot the seller (Suzy) says they will bring them to the next Sheffield fair. Odd.

Re: Blocking a Seller

Do what I did Adrian, give eBay the heave-ho. I just buy job lots, and the odd auction. And none of the fuss or nonsense with eBay.

Re: Shipping from America

Heavy item Ian? It's a WW1 German Regimental Stein for a little exhibition I'm planning. But ... here's the (interesting) blurb from the seller re shipping charges: "This ships USPS Priority shipping and includes FREE insurance. There ARE NO charges for packing and wrapping but are always just the ...

Re: Shipping from America

Being from New Zealand I have to ship pretty much everything in from overseas and shipping costs do vary quite considerably on the size and weight of the item, and the type of service the seller is offering. Some will offer the cheapest options, but others will insist on tracking (which is really a...

Shipping from America

Seems a bit of minefield on eBay, not necessarily Subbuteo here, but just comparing similar style of board games. Some have free shipping, although that might change if you checked out. This then goes all the way through the 20s right up to 65$! Anybody had much experience with getting stuff from th...

Re: Serh_davi. ....aka Catsmad

2211 squid for a week or sos work, although looking at the paint jobs it probably didn't take that long. It's criminal activity we are looking at and it's also your collection(s) losing money. I pity the poor fools when they turn up at an auction house at some point only to be delivered with some ba...

Looks to a be a brand new user, I guess we all had to start somewhere.
No other ID history, so without some address-to-nasty-people database, it's going to be hard to say.
Not come up on my radar.

Re: What the hell is this Ebay???????

The issue will be how much will it cost to remove your money from the new system? Most other payment sites use Paypal only, from trains to gig tickets. So to use your hard-earned readies you will have to remove the funds - at probably a cost. Currently you don't have to do that. As usual newbie ebay...

Re: Most Chilled Buyer

Even sending tracked or signed for doesn't mean it will end up in the right hands. Postman are known to knock and if no one is in, dump it outside the door. Or take it back to the office without leaving a card. Totally true ..... SOB SOB :( :( :( They couldn't even send my postcard of the Pope back...
