Re: How Long Do You Wait For Payment?

In this day and age I'm not sure why we don't have an automatic payment system via Paypal. You win the item, you pay immediately. That sounds like a good idea but the next logical step might be that you couldn't put a bid on an item unless you had sufficient funds deposited with paypal. That might ...

Re: Reference site screwed...

But like I said Spud, linking a picture generated absolutely no revenue as you never visited their site. It is/was a broken Internet business model.

Re: How Long Do You Wait For Payment?

eBay says you should wait 48 hours, so anything longer you can consider an unpaid item case. 10 days plus is getting a bit strange.

Re: BLACKBURN ROVERS TYPED NAME BOX..

Thanks Skell, very very nice. Never seen that variant before. I've got the one with the collar and cuffs but this one is very nice. Another team becoming a contender for most variations.

Re: Reference site screwed...

Yep killed a lot of sites that were "fan" based", where people wanted to post memorabilia or just simply pictures of days out. I suppose you can understand it a little from Photobucket's point of view. A lot of links to pictures costing them bandwidth and nobody actually visiting the actual site. I'...

Yep, or blast freezing it with liquid nitrogen will freeze the glue, it should just fall off. You just need to know where your local "donor" bank is :lol!:

Re: Are auctions dead

Barry, I don't mind people selling tat, it's when they keep listing for the same unsold price. I mean, hello, is anyone in there? You're not getting 25 quid this week, or next month or next year for this pile of dog-doo. If you can't be bothered to drop the price, then drop it in your local charity...

Re: Are auctions dead

eBay seems to be just full of the same tat nowadays. The same people, some good some bad, relisting and relisting and relisting. I think there still is 6 terrible teams still being list for 25 as I speak. They aren't worth 5. It's got very dull over there and I've not bought anything much on it for ...

Re: 2013windsurfer1975

It's a nightmare isn't? Two recent sales: 1- Many teams a sort of double job lot. Went to the post office twice to get the best price. Still not happy I requested to cancel the transaction (thanks Mark) which they eventually accepted. If it costs 9€ to send one team it's going to a lot more to send ...
