Hi Mark
It is a strange thing, because I know him and he is a great and honest Subbuteo collector.
Very strange his behaviour ...

Re: Any advice please on this Ref.181??

White plastic, black hair and boots, the players look good (except the one on top left in flesh plastic).
This is the "New Partick Thistle". They should come in a long printed named box, or maybe just ref 23.

Re: The nightmare continues

Why is it a problem ? No, no there is no problem ! People spend their money as they prefer, specially buying collectable items ! I just wonder, as Mark does, why these kind of teams reach so high evaluations. Recently on the same media I have seen beautiful and quite rare original HW to go for much...

Re: The nightmare continues

The problem is not people selling... the problem are people that buy repainted teams to very very high price...

Re: Most Chilled Buyer

Even sending tracked or signed for doesn't mean it will end up in the right hands. Postman are known to knock and if no one is in, dump it outside the door. Or take it back to the office without leaving a card.
Totally true ..... SOB SOB :( :( :(

Re: how much postage!?

Bha, looking for rare teams sold recently for 550 and more £ (one team obiously), I don't surprise anymore if there could be one or more collectors that will spend these money to get one of the rarest items in the Subbuteo range.
