The goalie is mounted in diving mode...

Dickinson's Real Deal

Did anyone see yesterdays episode with the Munich ? A young lad came on with a complete Munich set, cricket set, boxed FA Cup and a box full of teams ( unfortunately we only saw a couple of teams). The lot was given to him by a relative and he accepted £250 from the dealer. I was screaming no deal. ...

Re: A very old rule.

Thank you. I've experimented playing that way in a few practice games, and it seems to work quite well in solo play; in many ways preferable to successively alternating the 'kicking' flicks with blocking flicks. Yes only two flicks when entering the opponents half. Good for solo play as you say, bl...

Seems way over the top but there are 73 players. May be the catalogue is valuable, not seen it before.

Re: OSC OS (Old Subbuteo Club Old Sods)

Great! Hopefully the set you receive has the figures included and intact. The quality of the pork pie is a serious factor. Rich has set the bar high. May have to find one of the fancy pies with fruit on the top for next time..... Arrived today almost mint with half the contents still in unopened ba...

Re: OSC OS (Old Subbuteo Club Old Sods)

The France 98 box set. The corner kickers work just as well. It's the only Hasbro equipment (oh and goals) that we've allowed ourselves to use, simply because they are great fun! A lot easier to use than previous version of throw in takers. If you get it right, you can throw the ball directly onto ...

Re: OSC OS (Old Subbuteo Club Old Sods)

Ah that would be Roy Race. His Rocket flew past the goal post and he ended up on top of the net! I really enjoy using the throw/ corner takers. As Spud says, it started out as a novelty and its now become the norm to use them. Embrace all the nuances of subbuteo that you can whilst playing, that's ...

Hi Steve, bring them to Steve's in September and lets have a flats game. I am still wondering whether I dare try play with mine against Kevin!
I will John and it probably doesn’t matter what we play with against The Cat ! Same result.
