Re: Think Subbuteos dear to collect?

Absolute madness. My car will get me to Scotland and back and is worth £200. The scalextric car will never be used as the new owner will be too scared to put it on the track and hence will sit in it's box for another 30 years. Be it scalextric or subbuteo these items were made to be played with and ...

Re: SUPERB MAN CAVE

I'd get rid of a few of the modern football games and get a scalextric set up and a model train layout. Wish I had the space as I could do something similar got all the gear to do it.

Re: Italian buyers

I recently started a new ebay account. Well I thought I'll wipe the slate clean no blocked bidders or excluded countries. Low and behold within six weeks two non deliveries to Italy. Total losses including postage about £18.00. Italy is now blocked just not worth the hassle.

Re: HW Slump

Glad all mine are gone. Strange though in the hundreds of teams that I had amassed there was not one special order or rare base combo to be seen. :?

Re: HW Slump

To be honest you only have to look at this forum to realise the hobby is in the early stages of decline. Regular stalwarts of the forum no longer post or are anywhere to be seen. There are many days or even weeks between posts and in some topics it's been years. As as been said before due to the age...

Re: Open House

Everything now being listed slowly but surely on ebay. I estimate that it will be a labour of love for the rest of my life. Thanks to the forum member who visited me. A great Sunday spent discussing and selling subbuteo.

Re: car Boot - Ref 579 ?

The pics are fine just a case of waiting for another forum member to give their opinion. By the way can you send me a link to the online vintage toy shop when it's ready. Cheers.

Re: car Boot - Ref 579 ?

The 464 can be a very, very dark blue especially on newer teams. The older 464 is a lighter blue. It's not a 579 stripes are too thick.

Re: Hike for Business Sellers

I am closing my ebay shop at the end of the month well Saturday to be precise. Probably nothing of interest to most people on here but I am happy to give big reductions and combined postage to forum members on everything in the shop. My seller name is stix69saints.

Open House

I am just starting to sell up all my subbuteo. As a dealer I have tonnes of the stuff. I have in excess of 1000 lw teams, a few hundred hw teams, around a hundred zuego first edition teams and 40 rugby teams. Loads of box sets football, cricket and rugby. Accessories by the bucket full. My first opt...

Regardless of anything, you get an eBay bill at the end of the month after July this will be 20% more. I will close my eBay shop and business before the end of July it's not worth it.

Re: Hike for Business Sellers

I was under the impression that it was 20% vat on your total eBay fees. So if you pay £200 a month eBay fees that will now rise to £240 if this is the case I will be selling up.
