Re: A few teams and a question...

Can't beat those Admiral designs, the very essence of 1970s football.

Re: Hertfordshire subbuteo

Definitely worth announcing it on the UK Subbuteo players discussion forum on Facebook, hopefully you should get a lot of interest.
Good luck!

Re: Teams HW

hp zoms are nice
I've got a nice HP Leeds away zombie team that's one of my favourites in my whole collection.
Might even give them a flick at the next Old Subbuteo meeting in Harrow!

Re: Harrow tournament the 3rd and 4th of September

Many thanks to Rudi for organising and facilitating a great day of Subbuteo played in good spirit by all. Also, thanks to Paul Lloyd for supplying the teams. Re: The Baggies in a named box

I had one of those named West Brom in the same era box.
Had blue sock trim & an arm stripe but I Ebayed it as it had the reverse base & I prefer the white inner/blue outer version as the catalogue.

Stunning work & a lovely choice of kit.
Great to see Yosser Hughes of Boys From The Blackstuff fame second right back row.

Re: Mere speculation...

Old Subbuteo tends to be played for fun in England, whereas FISTF is a more serious affair.

Re: Mere speculation...

I'm happy playing either, some people you play want to win at all costs, some want to help you learn, some just enjoy it for what it is.
Each to their own.
