The Beatles by Subbuteo

I would be interested to know if anyone owns or knows someone who owns a set of these Beatles figures produced by Subbuteo in the early to mid sixties. I believe a mint example might be worth as much as ?500!!

When Hasbro launched the Dream Team Stadium edition, they sent me loads of sets and accessories to "try out". It must have been about ?500 worth of stuff. I took it round some local primary schools as part of a toys and games project they were doing at the time, and they really loved this game. None...

Due to the attitude of "cockney" and his attitude alone, I feel I can longer involve myself with this forum. I came on here to chat to everyone about Subbuteo like most decent people, never for one minute expecting any grief, but due to one solitary individual who does not know how to conduct himsel...

The Rugby Game as mentioned previously - this was always going to be a RU game but of course it is easily adapted for RL if necessary apart from the RL strips, as you point out. It was Geoffrey Samson, SSG sales director, who was also my godfather, who came up with idea of doing a Rugby game, so Pet...

What about that ref 60, Mark ? Who exactly are FC Subbuteo (Barcelona) ? yellow shirt with blue band, blue shorts, yes??. Not sure of Barcelona but I remember clearly a team in Gibraltar wearing those colours, which was made up of locals and Subbuteo employees on the rock. A sort of pub team I supp...

Hi Mark Greetings from Seychelles. Haven't read your book as yet, will do sometime soon when I escape to civilisation. Nerdy question: One of the first South American club teams produced by Subbuteo in about 1970 or so was Santos, the team Pele played for. Do you have any idea why the subbuteo kit ...

Why didn't he make blue and white hoops ref 1 ?
fair question! I think that red/white and blue/white were the basic colours that appeared in the sets so to make them 1 and 2 seemed to be the logical order. QPR were 11, if my memory serves me correctly?? M

Apparently your appearance was much appreciated by all! :-) Any personal reflections on the event?? tfimmf The Subbuteo Fair in Rome was great. It was a quick trip - flew out friday am - a...
