Re: Goodison Park 1985

That looks brilliant mate well done. Neat little space left for the church and clock in the corner- good man.

Re: Goodison Park 1985

wow the church and the wall brilliant... I used to go in there for a cup of team before the match back in the 80s. Look forward to seeing it.. Don't forget the basic digital scoreboard at the Park End

Re: Goodison Park 1985

That looks brilliant mate, you've nailed the Bullens Road stand- that's some effort.

Are you going to add in the Littlewoods clock in the corner of the Gwladys Street end? That would be attention to detail!

Re: HW REF 55 WITH LILAC OUTERS....

They look amazing- what a find.

I haven't even got any lilac bases never mind pink. Maybe its the red underneath but they do look pinkish to me.

Whats the team?

Re: Desperation strikes

I see the said team was sold for £33.50 - funnily enough all 5 bids had "private listing - bidder identity protected" status- I do wonder, seems a little coincidental.

I predict this very team will pop up again soon.

Perhaps listed under another "seller ID" but likely the same owner.

They look superb and the bases imperfect enough to be legit!

Great acquisition.

Re: Dictover...

Ha funny that, I have just ordered some lilac Santiago bases so I could see the difference between them and the original SSG bases, there appears to be a sudden flurry of lilac teams on e-bay with these "rare" lilac bases appearing. This collecting is a minefield- Though as you say definitely a clue...

Re: Desperation strikes

Yes it does seem odd that must repainters have moved on. Bearman likely made enough over the years to retire to the sun. As you say Ian perhaps they've just reinvented themselves with a new IDs and locations and are buying up common teams as we speak- ready to start all over again. I have also been ...

Re: Desperation strikes

Hi Folks, Back to the forum after a good while - though didn't post much even back in the day! I have to agree with Mark that the Palermo he has up is an absolute shocker and certainly would win my "boxfresh award", though the lovely lemon 115 Cape Town was a close second. Whilst I am tending to buy...
