Apparently, the amount charged by eBay is a flat rate irrespective of the size of the package and on top of that the amount charged by the seller to post it within the UK is added. If the scheme is used by a lot of people, the higher actual shipping cost of the more bulky items should even out with ...

I couldn't agree more, Mark. It's not worth considering it for items that can be posted in "small parcel rate" packages.

I don't know about eBay opening the package at the GSP depot before posting it overseas (which is obviously not a good thing) but I would expect that it shouldn't happen when the destination country in in the EU (like Cyprus or Slovakia, for that matter). :roll: Whatever the case, for bulky items, t...
