Any ideas?

Post by spudski » 18 Oct 2016, 10:13

Got a team of these in a job lot with no box?

No idea whether it's SSG, a home paint...or even what team it's meant to represent. Unfortunately 3 of them are broken and reglued with that horrible lumpy brown glue of old.

Any ideas?

If I didn't know any better could be a 320 with some black paint added a long time ago.
Doesn't match any catalogue item that I know of, but could be some sort of floodlighting variant that we've seen knocking around.
Current spares: Brescia x2 light blue inner, white outer, PMs please if you can help.

Very difficult to say if touched up or not.
Could be a Mexico with black painted added to match a black/green kit. None italian from the 70ies.
You can see the team in front of you and decide if genuine or not.

Cheers for the thoughts chaps...

I'm still very unsure as to whether it's original or not. And no closer to knowing what team it's supposed to be.

I've deduced that it was not previously a ref 15, because of the manner in which it's been painted. Black over green sock. Or an Ireland, as there is white plastic under the black shorts.

If it is a home paint, the most likelihood is that it was formerly a Mexico as Alberto mentioned.

The black does seem to match that of the originals though, and not a modern paint.

Still none the wiser though lol
