Old Goalkeeper Bases...

Post by up the boro » 05 Jan 2017, 14:37

Digging through a load of stuff to sell, I came across 2 goalie bases with the writing "R.D.851000" on one half and Subbuteo on the other, any info regarding these guys?
It all seems very easy, this revolution game
But when you start to really play things won't be quite the same
Your intellectual theories on how it's going to be
Don't seem to take into account the true reality

It's a Registered Design number, not a patent number. Hence the RD - which, surprisingly doesn't stand for Roger Daltrey after all.

There's a difference between RDs and patents in terms of how long you can stop other folk copying your idea, but I forget the detail as I'm old. :bigsmurf: :study:
