Would I be right in assuming that these display boxes were sold on their own and you added the team you wanted Etc.and they were not sold complete with teams in?
Picked this up recently and It looks great.
Also what is the die cut in the inlay card below the ball for?

The die cut in the inlay, was to place the goalkeeping rods in, supposedly to keep them in place, at an angle. Most end up ripped...completely useless as it is so hard to remove the rods without damaging the inlay mate.

Box is for flat teams not ohws though...showing how tight SSG were they sold bases and flat teams separate..
Ex ICF read the books see the films, laugh, and then ask what really happened

Mark's right - they were designed for flats. Priced at 2/5 if I remember right.

Someone with a contemporary price list can check that.

The box was pretty much the same price as the team ........
