Well,i maybe thought so myself.Historical football kits shows this as particks kit from 1975-77,so kind of fits in with when this team was sold.

There's a "New Partick" thread on here, Greg, in the reference section for "football classic heavyweights", but the photo has been removed (photobucket ??).

Or look on Peter Upton tribute site, HW 23. Also illustrated on "little plastic men" site.

Has the box got a typed named sticker on the end ??

hiya paul, thanks for that ~ i'll take a look. The box has got the '181' sticker on which is all original, which relates to partick, but the kit wasn't shown on peter uptons site,so i was a bit puzzled (which doesn't take a lot!!).

It may well be that the first owner has touched the team up to look more like an actual Partick kit

The player in the top left of the photo looks to me to be a different plastic to the others.

White plastic, black hair and boots, the players look good (except the one on top left in flesh plastic).
This is the "New Partick Thistle". They should come in a long printed named box, or maybe just ref 23.
