it is frustrating looking for old TV programmes - I've spent ages looking for certain Clarets games (BBC and ITV) .. a 1970's schools programme by Granada called History Around You and a BBC version of the Tenant of Wildfell Hall that my Mrs appeared in ... no luck at all

It has come to light that the Player is David Lyon from Llandudno, who represented Wales at the 1974 Subbuteo World Cup.
He also played in Youth International matches against England
He played full back for St Helens, too. :guiness:

Winner 2010 and, joint with Takis,2014

A great player he was, didnt have a spell at the original Eagles
Well spotted. He played 4 games (one as sub) on loan from Saints.

tell me, been looking for two series from the mid 70s i remember as a nipper
The Hostages 1975
A Place To Hide 1976

scoured the planet and found only one episode of APTH and first minute of The Hostages :angry:

These were both screened Sundays around 4pm from memory

I have seen the hostages DVD but it looks like a modern remake as opposed to the 75 version
