Subbuteo set - looking for a good home - advice needed

Post by Chuffy07 » 17 Aug 2018, 12:36

Hi All,

First-time poster. My parents recently gave me two big boxes of my childhood belongings as they didn't want them cluttering up their house any more. In one of the boxes was my subbuteo collection. Being a child of the 80's, most of the items range from the late 80's. I am moving abroad and want to find a good home for them rather than chucking them away. I thought this forum might be the best place to ask for advice as to how to find a good home for them or even someone on this forum would like to give them a good home. The removal company are coming on Wednesday but I am in the south of England until the following Tuesday so am looking to have parted with it by then. Using various websites, I have tried to identify the teams.

There are:
9 vertical box with polystyrene teams (8, 486, 574, 596, 618, 627, 629, 647, 655)
1 Waddingtons tag box with polystyrene (57)
1 empty box (Waddingtons Tag) (25)
17 unboxed teams
Range of accessories.

Grateful for any advice you can give. Bottom line is, I would like to give the whole collection to someone but am short of time.

Regards,

Gavin

Hi Gavin,

If you posted your general location (and when you will be around?) hopefully someone on the forum could make you an offer and collect direct? There’s a good chance someone will be in or close to your area!

Best of luck with the move.
