Oh good, I'm here 2 minutes. I start fighting with people and then one of the unwashed arrives. I'm so happy.

Welcome Pachyderm. I'll be nice if you will :)

Hola from Madrid.

New to the forum , I started with Subbuteo around the early 70’s when my father brought us a Continental Club Edition from Italy, and I played a lot until 83. Got back to play Subbuteo two years ago, well, more Table Soccer than Subbuteo but I have been collecting few green boxes in these two years.

See you around and please forgive my rusty english.

Nice place, thanks for let me in!

Welcome to the ISF. I had a brilliant Paella in Malaga once. But the next day I had a serious case of Montezumas Revenge and had to leave me keks in the railway station there. Magic moments indeed.

Guinnesses, mate. From the Irish bar - through the big gatey thing in the middle of Perpignan and down the first narrow street on the left.

Hi Guys,
Names Steve, and like Paul I hail from the glorious city of Derry, though I was born in London and lived there the first 9yrs of my life.
At the moment I don't own any Subbuteo products as I've kind of stumbled back into it after chatting over a beer with my brother.
Plan is to probably buy the new set for my two young boys (7 and 8 ) and take it from there.
TBH starting from scratch is a little scary with all the advances, plus it seems the older stuff drifts in price.
I played in the 70's and kick myself thinking of the teams and accessories I had!!! We never really played tourney rules so I guess I would rate my own skill level back then as low
I'm an Arsenal fan which has been passed down so I guess I'll also need to buy the home and away teams too, but will take it one day at a time, don't know if the boys will like it so I won't go too mental just yet.
Anyways I look forward to posting and chatting with you all.
cheers
Steve.
