was held yesterday at the Mandarin bar (francao bar) Via Biancamano 50 in Rome on 1 Newfooty tournament ever held in Italy.
10 participants played with teams, goals, all original pitch newfooty coming from my collection.

yes, had a great time, I did not play, I have placed the material and I organized the event ..
subbuteo the flat are playable but newfooty are aesthetically far superior ..
next year, in the summer will organize the 2nd Newfooty Event
in the summer because we play outdoors only, on the street ...

To be honest aesthetically speaking I would describe newfooty as somewhere between revolting and pig ugly
.. but each to their own subbuteo cellys however are both very playable and a design classic.

Newfooty aren't good figures imho
they look great but play like flicking a bulldozer, highly unpredictable
I'll take Subbuteo flats all year long, however, any old flat event is worth the effort and you are to be congratulated on organising and the execution of said event
