The smaller one is £99 and the larger one £129.99. If you buy with the actual game set the price is £129.99 and £149.99, so its clearly better value to buy the game and set together. How much is the pitch ?
Discussion about the Vintage Days football game.
Well its not real but it is miniature 'grass', the sort used for model railways. Apparently the pitches are made on a 10mm lightweight board with a cork base and an underlay. I imagine there must be quite a bit of work involved.
Some vintage action shots showing one of the injured players. I have ordered one of the vintage pitch/stadiums so will post more photos later.

Lee, they work OK for the game but I wouldn't use them for Subbuteo. The goals are much smaller than Subbuteo and you are using a large size ball. The idea of the base is that you can play the ball out of the area at any time even when not in possession. There is a rubber section on the rod which allows some flexibility for impact. There are also similar unrodded keepers for taking goalkicks. You place one finger down on the head of the player and flick the base to get a high clearance. Works well with practice.
