The problem is anybody who comes on here with anything new gets ridiculed, chewed up and then spat out. So I don't think we will be getting the rules. sadly.
Gullseye, i dont think thats the case mate, I have read this thread and flick2kick has been evasive and arrogant, again, it has been a lively discussion, however a blind man on a galloping horse can see it is a revision of Newfooty, (SSG being the 1st revision) so his argument holds no water as it were, the guys just want to see the rules and the cards, Mr flick, feels that people will then be able to create their own version of this game, so he must have a commercial interest rather than a passing one, so i understand where Ralph is coming from, all you can ask on a forum is for guys to be as honest as possible, i do believe mr flick has a hidden agenda, but thats just my opnion, i myself like the look of the game, not to play but as a display.Gullseye wrote:I know you are getting him back for the comments on the custom paints thread, which is fair enough as they were out of order. Just think that sometimes anything new or different is rubbished before anybody has even tried it. Anyway its been an amusing thread.ralphtheclaret wrote:Dear oh dear a bloke appears fleetingly to push his game and mock people on the custom paints thread and we haven' t to ask him to back up his statements.....fine .
That is an interesting period with some great kits. Wonder if Vintage Days have already started on a new game for this era? Would have been a more logical period to start with as the game was much different then.duncthehat wrote:
And if anyone would like to consider painting up the 12 original league teams of 1888 followed by those that joined the league up to 1900 they have a ready made customer in me!!!
I agree that there's no harm in taking an idea and improving it. But subbuteo ten times better than NewFooty? No way! NewFooty is a fabulous game in its own right.Focus On wrote:yeah but Newfooty is the proverbial 'Skoda' to Subbuteo's 'Ferrari'flick2kick wrote:all i can say then is quack quack quack New footy !!!!!! because that is where subbuteo came from.......
