Updated team chart Help

Post by davieb1972 » 05 Jan 2019, 19:11

Hi all,

After many years I have returned to Subbuteo and wondered about some kind of chart with the team codes.

Is there such a thing?

I was looking at getting some Rangers teams but noticed there are a lot of codes for different strips but different boxes for the same strips is this normal?

Its been a long long time!!

Thanks

Davie

Over the years teams kits changed, and so did the subbuteo teams, especially in the 80’s and 90’s when team kits became less basic and generic.
Take a look at ‘Peter Upton’s subbuteo tribute pages’ on the internet. The amount of information on his side is huge and covers all areas of subbuteo. Their are other sites which may have better detail for a specific topic, but no site covers all areas of subbuteo like Peter Upton’s
You will find a section on their called team appendices, and here you will find all the reference numbers for Rangers teams, and all other subbuteo teams. Although for the latter references, several kits may have been issued on the same reference number, but the majority of these are also shown in another section.
The site is well worth a read and the subbuteo community has a lot to thank Peter Upton for.
