New Leitch stand

Postby Wrightenberg » 07 Jan 2017, 20:36

Bit of spare time over the holidays had given me a bit of time to start on yet another stadium revamp....

Some more pics. This time of the basic terrace/ corrugated iron stand I'm building. Not totally finished yet, but getting there...

Looking really good and love the railway running around, every stadium should have one. I do like to play games in mine so a railway is a non starter.

Solo play is still possible, as there's a large opening in the base behind the main stand (which is just a standard Subbuteo terrace) The scratch built terrace running along side tracks (in the photos) is quite narrow - making this stand and the two lines just a little bit wider than a Subbuteo terrace.

Goalkeeping is a problem, but as I usually weight keepers down in the middle of the goal for solo play - it's not too bad.

Even better then if you can play solo. Weighting the goalie and just positioning him before shooting works very well for me.
