Goldstone Ground pre season friendly

Post by Gullseye » 05 Aug 2017, 15:30

First look at the Goldstone this season. Brighton hosted last years (solo league Division One) champions QPR and were comfortably beaten 3-0.

Its a list of the winning jack pot numbers. There are a number of custom made figures around the stadium which I have converted from Subbuteo models, this being one of them.

Thanks we will no doubt need it. Looking forward to the easy opener against Man City. I suspect its only a matter of time before Fulham get back.

Be interesting to see how both sides do this season. Our chairman doesn't believe in spending money on big names, so at least we won't go the same way teams like Portsmouth have. I suspect we may be a yoyo team which is OK with me, as its not a great feeling being 92nd in the league with no cash or ground which happened in the 90's.

Totally, I'd agree Agent Chris is the man, that beard he's growing caught a glimpse of it on SSN. Top Bloke , under Rafa no guarantees we will stop up, under him anythings possible !!

Thanks. The last time we made the top flight in 1979 we lost 4-0 at home to Arsenal in the first game, but we didn't go down. Not expecting to get results against the top sides, but you never know early season.
