what brilliant painting skills you have arcieretrusco, nice to see someone else bringing the older kits into focus, but can I just ask why you have not replicated the 1939-40 kit with the longer shorts that of course it would have had, I am just interested to know why you have used this particular figure and not the vintage one and please before people start having a go at me for asking this question I'm not having a go at any one, I am just interested in his interpretation.

True. Even today, players have longer shorts, but manufacturers print these figures ... or horrible monsters!!! :lol!: :lol!: :lol!:

Could it be because the vintage figures are an acquired taste and bear no real resemblance to any figure made by Subbuteo ?

I think they should put new figures, with longer shorts, it can be used for 2000 and the first of the '900 until the end of the' 50s

I think that these long shorted players were made by Subbuteo :lol!:
