I have an old style baize pitch which dates back to the 1960s but is in excellent condition. I would like to mount it onto a board so that it can be used at Lincoln Flickers meetings, but dont know whether (a) this is advisable, (b) if it is, what's the best type of board to use, and (c) what's the best method of attaching the pitch to the board, e.g. glue (and if so what kind?), pins etc. Any advice appreciated. We also have a member who has a more modern fabric pitch which he's willing to mount and donate to the club. What procedure would be best for him? We'll soon be moving to much larger premises to cope with an increase in membership, which is why we need the extra pitches.
Ideally, we'd like to be able to afford a dedicated table soccer table or two but as the cheapest I've seen these available for is around £400 there's absolutely no prospect of that in the foreseeable future.
Cheers,
Jaypeedee
