Nah that what the flat, high surface area bases are for....I think they are also call professional bases or something like that..

no lad .. they like anything else designed after @ 1969 are of no interest to me in the slightest :lol:

if you played with a small ball and N goals against an experienced small ball player it wouldn't matter what kind of goal keeper you
used .. you wouldn't stop anything much .. nip over sometime I'll demonstrate .. I'd give you a five goal start and still win 10-5 over thirty minutes no problem :lol:

very true our small club has always used the small ball and goals it suits us and since we don't play tourneys it doesn't matter each to his own but were not changing .more old subby events please .

not bragging or owt :roll: :lol: but the first was a long range curling lob from future Villa star Morley the second something of an Archie Gemmill type run and chip from the legendary Ginger pele Billy Ingham ...

early 60's baize .. has the shooting lines but no subbuteo branding .. £3.99 via ebay in April this year .. plus £2 postage .. quick iron job done

I often ponder this, 18 or 22mm ball! On balance I think I prefer the 18, no particular reason, I just do!
