Thank you for that pearl of wisdom, Liono.
It's a new one on me, but it answers the obvious question, from the rules of the day, regarding just when the next quota of flicks began. It's logical, too.
Back pass to keeper.

Re: Back pass to keeper.
I agree with it, one of very few FISTF rules that makes sense, as then the other player gets a block flick
One oft-overlooked rule in the FISTF set is that a touch by the keeper on the rod is one of your three .......

I like it too. It stops goalkeepers tramming the ball around the goal area and gives the attacker a real chance to put pressure on him.
Lots of FISTF players don't know the rule.

I agree, any play at the ball should always give the defender a block flick, a one for one, in any rules is fair

Re: Back pass to keeper.
It's not just about the block - it's about the keeper not having unlimited touches.
Save the shot and you have two flicks left.

Re: Back pass to keeper.
In Italy the two main organizations (FISCT and OLDSUBBUTEO) in their Subbuteo regulations allow for the back pass to the keeper and it is the only case when the player can use both hands. Both organizations are quite conservative and the consistency with real soccer regulation isn't yet taken into account.

I'd say its fine to hold your keeper and and make a back pass, though i haven't been through the FISTF rules. Would this not be the same principle as, when your goal is under a attack, you hold your keeper ready and take blocking flicks?

Always useful the FISTF rules ... handy for propping up wobbly table legs , blocking draughts under doors or in old sports hall walls or they can simply be torn up and used for wiping ones nether regions in an emergency after a visit to the loo ?
