1.40pm - 7pm

36 player max old subbuteo tournament

Use your own old subbuteo team. please bring a 2nd xi in case of colour clash
Old Subbuteo rules apply.
there will be group stages followed by knockout.
should be 5 or 6 games guaranteed minimum for each player

for most players who don't qualify for the knock out stages there will be a plate tournament

£10 per player

If you wish to enter both or either tournament please post here as follows:-

"Your name - Saturday only"

or

"your name - sunday only"

or

"your name - both Saturday and sunday"

reserves will be also noted and it is usual for many reserves to get into the tournament as quite often people do have to drop out so its well worth putting your name down as a reserve if the tournament is full.

please don't enter the competitions unless you are sure that barring unforeseen circumstances that you will be attending as it does cause extra work for the organisers when numbers of entrants drop out especially very close to the tournament dates

last minute drop outs without replacements being available does mean sadly that fixtures involving the absent players will be awarded to the opponent as a 1-0 victory.

If you wish to reserve a trading table for the fair the post here:-

" Traders table"

Any questions please ask me either on here or by pm.

So. Im wondering how long it will take before somebody else signs up. Maybe somebody from England ? Im reliably informed that there at least 500 blokes playing the game ( in whatever code ) within a 100 mile radius of Maidenhead. One would think a few of them would make an effort. Time will tell I suppose.

Well Jon, you should have a fair idea way before then. Maybe go for a 1 day Tourney on Sunday as an alternative if the numbers dont stack up. At least you are trying, which is highly commendable.
