A reasonable decision if so.

the tournaments are likely to be cancelled due to lack of interest.

I may then look for an alternative/cheaper venue for fair only on sunday.

final decision on tournaments next sunday 17/1/16

thanks for your support mark.
its ,looking very unlikely.
only have four or five traders and minimum venue cost seems to be about £75.

Shame. Was still contemplating whether to come down and having a small stall. If you are looking for 2/3 more traders to help cover cost of the fair and save it from being cancelled ~I would commit to it, if that helps

what i will do is email a few more past traders to see if i can get to say about 10 in which case we will have enough to at lease make the fair happen at another venue

Jon, I really enjoyed the event when I came for the first time the year before last. Unfortunately I had to pull out the day before last year and there is the possibility I will be away 19th/20th so did not sign up this year. Not sure why there is such a sudden fall in interest in the event, which from what you say appears to be both on the playing and selling sides. I do sense generally from the forum that the the previous levels of enthusiasm for the hobby has dropped off.

its the way it goes i suppose steve.nothing lasts forever.

however i will try again next year for sure.
if i can get a few more traders i will still go for fair only if i can find a suitable venue

Jon,since I already bought the plane tickets, I will be there..but why do you think there was a lack of interest?? I can't seem to understand why.. :(
