Has anyone come across this seller before? Do the teams look ok to everyone? Are they worth a bid?

I would also like to know whether anybody has dealt with this seller before. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, it might be worth checking the feedback where you will see a list of sellers he's recently bought from. Amongst a few of the more relaible sellers of subbuteo (ahem,) there are quite a few of the usual suspects regarding dodgy crap like 'charitydistributions' & 'thebearman' (surprise, surprise!). Plus some of the auctions he won were 'private' ( I always steer clear of these sellers on principle) and invariably the items won end up being dodgy as well.

The teams are a mixed bag, some are genuine (including ref stickers) and some are glaringly obvious repaints, like the Ref 82 which is a prime example of a repainted team, although I could be wrong.

I'm surprised to see this guy has already started to sell off his 'collection' which he'd only recently managed tp amass?! Perhaps he's hoping to generate some extra cash?

Yeah, I picked out the 82. The green's a poor match.

If he's been buying from Bearman et al, he could well be some unwitting sucker.

Thanks Adam/Liono for the input bottled out of bidding on the rarer teams just in case settled on the Ajax 56 as i do not have one yet. Hopefully that quite common reference is not prone to a repaint!!!

I see some of the teams he had sold, including the St Mirren 182 which went for £133, are back up for sale. Does this mean there was some shill bidding or someone has returned them as repaints?

Had a reply from stems125 as I innocently questioned if they are a repaint and why they were relisted after 5 days. response below:

I have never repainted any of my teams as the advertisement says. I sell everything in good faith, however my knowledge is limited. If you are wary, please don't bid as I can only be as honest as my knowledge of these things allows. I am no expert but these have never been touched by paint since being in my possession. Chris

- stems125

No mentions as to why relisted!!!

1. This is clearly a repaint. Ok so maybe he bought it in good faith from bearman or doris and has been stung - but if that is the case be honest sell it as a repaint and cut your losses.

2. Clearly a case of shill bidding previously

My reference 56 arrived super quick and is mint but it is a common reference. So speaking as i find i can have no complaints with the service or the item from Stems125. I was not tempted to risk a rarer reference though.
