Thank You!

Thank you to all the eBay sellers who don't subscribe to the Global Shipping Program  :awe:

Apart from it being expensive, I am having untold issues with clearing items from Customs because of this mode of shipping. I bought an item in January, it gets to SA on February 5th. and is still sitting with Customs. I have sent them just about everything but my blood, and I am still having problems with them releasing the item. They want the invoice - I sent the invoice that I received off eBay and the payment off PayPal, and they tell me that they want to see my bank statement showing the actual transaction. WHAT??? They don't have a damn right to. The courier company is taking this on because they also feel there is something dodgy going on here. Screenshot all documents and sent, now we wait. For something that cost me a mere GBP34, it has been a nightmare! Well over 20 emails in correspondence and more in the way of telephone calls.

Never again! If I see 'Global Shipping Program', I will move along.

But once again, THANK YOU to all you chaps who don't use the Global Shipping Program 8) :awe:

Apparently I'm not the only one having issues with it here in South Africa. Just spoke to an attorney this afternoon and she told me she has also had problems with this system. Some company called Pitney Bowes is this Global Shipping Program, and they are not making many friends  It's a scam; they are ripping people off with the shipping rates.

Never realized the issues it caused Vic

I did use it and found it to be OK but became frustrated the lack of being able to combine postage, hence I reverted back to tracked and signed for.
