Why do I never find such an 'old shop'!

Best guess as to what this little lot will go for!

My guess would be ?500-?600!!! Probably a lot more though. Depends if there is a bidding frenzy over the rarer teams.

A strange and bizarre mix of teams to find in an old Italian shop..unusual for example to find an old style 24 mixed in with a variety of teams rarely if ever seen in HW form. I think I'll keep my money in my pocket ;)

I think Mark that this is just the first lot of many, IE its a random selection from the current owner. Certainly a very interesting find, that shop must have been closed for a long time...

Not wrong, opening in the early sixties only to close for 15 years and then open for a couple of years at the end of the 70's. Must have then closed for another 20+ years before opening so the bloke could buy this 'selection' to sell on...

Isn't the seller the same All Table Soccer in the buying links on the Forum, Luca Livrieri? I have never bought from him but thought should be reputable? Somebody could vouch for this I would imagine. Have to admit it's a strange cross section though :-?

Its Luca..... The shop might be his dad who worked for parodi ( i might be getting confused on this). He has an enormus collection of HW teams. If you trade direct they always seem a little on the pricey side so never bothered.

Good grief - I think if this was my collection, I would have a big armchair right in the middle with a personal fridge one side for the beer, and a table the other side for the glass, and I would just sit there and wallow.
I would also check my fire insurance regularly.

In fairness, we were not remotely questioning authenticity. Have seen this guys webiste which is good. Seems to go for pretty decent stuff, with prices to match, but no crime in that. As this is lot 1, there may be a few more to come. Could be as simple as trying to raise some cash from an extensive HW collection, through an Italien 'grap a bag'. Get five commons, get 3 rare, one super rare type of mix.

Would you not as a rule make more by selling these seperately? Also notice that he wants payment directly into his bank - well that adds ?20 for us Brits then!

If you look closely at Ebay's rules ...asking for bank and wire transfers isn't allowed.

Yeah, but if you look at the unwritten rules you'll notice that ebay don't actually enforce any of the written ones so effectively they are worthless...

They may be legit but I don't buy the story that goes with it and that always casts doubt in my mind.

Dodgy teams and even more dubious bidding ( not for the first time as I recall from previous posts) is it about time we considered the appropriateness of the link???
