Any estimates on how much this will sell for - already sitting at ?621 on it's first day of auction.
Lovely piece though.
Anybody know the sellers name?

I'm not sure what the record price is for a subbuteo item on Ebay, but I am sure that this could go for between ?1250 and ?1750.

Very nice piece of hardware.

Already too much for me, though.

Yes, already way beyond my limit, too. Was prepared to go GBP600 for this item.

First sighting of this item on Ebay for me... Reckon it'll probably go for about GBP1500.

Me thinks one can safely say that I - along with many others - will never own one of these... Have a feeling we could see this item reach the GBP2000 mark :O

Good luck, people!

The same guy has sold many Shop stock rare sets on Ebay over the last year or so, Indoor Sets, Floodlight Cricket Sets etc. He has a Toy store and I am assured he has more than one of these so I don't think we are talking the Holy Grail here. These sets were given to Subbuteo workers when they were in Leeds so they are around and have been on ebay before.

Regards
Jamie

P.S. Colin I thought you were getting out of the game!!

Jamie, I have sold off about 200 or so H/W teams, 150 black box Parodi teams and my 1 - 81 shop display (that I now regret), but I have managed to hold on to the rest of my collection.
I have been concentrating on my large collection of stickers albums and cards over the past year which do not take up as much room.
I would love this Compendium though!
