Listening a lot to the Stooges, T.Rex and Neil Young (surprise).

Listening to Zuma in the car last night waiting for daughter to come out of her piano lesson, it prompted the thought: "which album have you listened to most often in your life (so far)......"

Zuma for me...

Just met up with some mates I haven't seen for years. One is a big fan of The Fall.

On this occasion we went to see Elvis Costello at Birmingham Symphony Hall. Wasn't a massive fan so not expecting much but he completely blew me away. A guitar & piano virtuoso with a voice like Golden Syrup. It was just Elvis and no one else, apart from occasional backing vocals from his brother Ronan.

Couldn't believe how many tracks I remembered: Accidents Will Happen; Girls Talk (originally with Nick Lowe, I think); Oliver's Army, Alison, Pump It Up.

So the one who's a fan of The Fall says next time we meet up will be in Leeds to watch The Mighty Fall

Happy Days 8)
