2013windsurfer1975

Postby barrychuckle » 18 May 2017, 04:07

A quick heads up to block this Italian buyer. He purchased 3 separate items from me not great value but totalled around £30. The two most expensive packages never arrived but the cheapest did. Either he has an expert thieving postman or he is a thieving bar steward himself. I fancy the latter.

Boils my hiss things like that Mark.

That's how MANY Subbuteo teams were put together by SSG and sent to shops.

If a collector wants all the same lettering, then they should ask the seller BEFORE buying. Same goes for rattlers.

Waste of peoples time and energy.

What's worse....an Original Team produced by SSG and sold with various base lettering and rattlers...or a team put together from spares, with all the same base lettering? Mental when you think about it. Some collectors would want the latter lol madness

Oddly i had a black shorted 20 made up of the best ten players from two sides, listed as such, that sold yesterday to an Italian Ian so i cant work out their mentality mate...never could

prob the ONLY side i have ever had to make from two teams, mind you its a rare one, let it go for 39 quid buy it now which i thought was fair considering....reffed box too

I put it down to lack of knowledge and some being 'particular' in their likes Mark.

Lack of knowledge I can understand...so I don't mind educating. We've all been there and continue to learn new things.
However...some Italian collectors are knowledgeable, but are picky in their tastes. If that's the case, then they should be more diligent in their asking of questions when buying a team imo. If a team came with rattles and different inners, you can't decide you don't like it, because that's how the team was produced by SSG.

That's a very good price for that team with ref sticker even if made up of two imo.

Just an update on 2013windsurfer1975. It so turns out that the lazy fcukwit could not be bothered to collect his parcel from his local post office. It was attempted delivery a week after I sent it and held for a month awaiting collection. I received it back to me today. Ebay have removed the negative feedback I received from him but I'm still £8 out of pocket on postage costs. My ban on Italian buyers remains in force :fist:

It's a nightmare isn't? Two recent sales:
1- Many teams a sort of double job lot. Went to the post office twice to get the best price. Still not happy I requested to cancel the transaction (thanks Mark) which they eventually accepted. If it costs 9€ to send one team it's going to a lot more to send 10+!
2 - One requests that they haven't received the item. I replied saying the item had been received and signed for. They replied "oh yeah". The day after they put the team back on feebay.

All within around 5-8 eBay items.
Current spares: Brescia x2 light blue inner, white outer, PMs please if you can help.

I think you can cancel the transaction WITHOUT their permission or say so IF you click an option there Pete that says something like 'cannot confirm buyers identity or address'....next time you have to do this look for this option it immediately closes the sale and returns your fees and the buyer dosen't get a look in.
