Not sure why anyone would associate the White and Red kit with Clydebank as it bears very little resemblance to any Clydebank kit ? on that basis alone Pete is probably more likely to be correct .

There was a load of MISL teams produced by SSG, that never appeared in catalogues etc. There was a prototype set made, but in the end it was considered too hard a market to crack, so the project was dropped. The already printed teams were then, for want of a better word canniballised into other teams etc.

Another similar product reached the same stage before being dropped and that was a Gola Soccer 6's set, the prototype was superb

Clydebank ?

No.

Looks like a Motherwell c1992 pattern done in red.

Sometimes they loaded up the wrong colour paints by accident and produced MP teams that weren't in the catalogue. These didn't get thrown away. They were often used in boxed sets.

Yes I know the Italian bloke has decided it looks like a Clydebank because he is basing that assumption as you say on a cross between a misprinted Motherwell and a 605 - which is another kit that Clydebank never wore at anytime ever

I spoke to the person who both designed and made the MISL teams last night. The red and white kit was also done in the following colours, black, orange, blue, yellow, light blue, navy blue, green and maroon, basically it was a template kit for the MISL range. The black shirt, red socks was also used as a second kit for Hamburg and another team.

Reference numbers 581-590 never appeared in catalogues, these were going to be the MISL teams

The second team is a mis-printed Liverpool 741. Seen it a few times.

I did research on the MISL from 1979 to 1992 impossible to identify these teams

The Subbuteo MISL teams were done on a basic kit template, using various colours, not many Subbuteo teams were ever actual replicas of actual kits

I have one in boxset, I was always informed they the white and red was a mis print Motherwell in wrong colours so they put them in the boxsets
