Re: Tiger Album of Football club Badges.

Interesting website, thanks. I must admit that I never considered that those 2 yellow triangle things ar...

Re: Tiger Album of Football club Badges.

Excellent find, I love to see things like this!! How come Torquay Utd's badge isn't in colour whereas the rest are? A bit wierd that.

Not listening to anything right now as I'm at work but before I left home I was listening to the first Crosby, Stills & Nash album.

Absolute magic!!! I can only play solo games against myself so I can really appreciate how much fun this tournament must be.

That is very interesting to see. A lot of people in Germany have insurance policies with Winterthur including ourselves.I
wonder why this pack was released?

Re: My First Paint Job

That's a very good first attempt. A bit glossy but then a coat or two of matt varnish will protect the paint nicely against damage in a game.

I used 00 brushes on the teams I painted but then that's what I'm used to from painting wargames figs. Hopefully you'll paint some more & enjoy the results.

Truckfighters - Prophet

From their new cd. With luck I'll get to see them live next week if the railways aren't on strike....... The train drivers are striking like crazy here at the moment,

Nope with water based pva glue. Liverpool won their game after their repair & today Northern Ireland beat Germany after I fixed them as well. Both vintage zombie teams played like new!!

Re: Rattlers - To repair, or not to repair...

Bugger, never say never!! This evening I stood my Liverpool zombies in hot water, dismantled them & reglued them again. Tomorrow I'm going to try them out & hopefully they'll be like new. If so then I'll do the same with my N.Ireland zombies as right now they play like sh*te!!

Re: Luton 169

That's another nice yellow / blue combination although the sponsorship logo on the front somewhat spoils the effect.

@lloydie - did you paint the addidas stripes on the sleeves as well? Painting 3 parallel lines that close together isn't easy I reckon.

Re: Rattlers - To repair, or not to repair...

I played a game this evening against myself where one of the teams was my old #41 zombies. It quickly became clear to me that some of them had become rattlers & it was fun to see how badly they played :D A lot of them came to a sudden halt & took a bite out of the pitch!! :O Will I repair them? Nope...

Re: Goalkeeper conundrum

:) :) Thanks guys that's really helped me out. I thought the neutral rule a bit wierd as in a real game if the goalie saves a goal & the ball lands in front of him then of course he can pick it up or kick it away, assuming of course that the attackers don't get to it first.... I shall use the spare ...

Re: Luton 169

I also like kits which contain yellow. My home team Torquay is a good example. The German 2nd division club Braunschweig (Brunswick) has a nice combination of yellow & blue which looks good on a nice sunny day :)
