Re: How do I stick a Subbuteo Astropitch on a board?

19mm mdf will be fine if it is kept indoors, mdf isnt as prone to twisting as ply. you have enough wood to glue and tack on 3mm strips to use as a wall to stop players and the ball falling off.

Re: How do I stick a Subbuteo Astropitch on a board?

wee bit of advice, even if you are using 9 or 12mm ply or mdf make a frame using the metric equivalent of 2" x 1" timber, it will stop any warping and keep the board true

Re: Flat pitch?

hardboard is horrid stuff, would suggest using mdf, if you cant get a sheet wide enough into your loft build a frame using 2" by 1" (or what the metric is) and glue n screw smaller sheets onto it. plan b is to raid the classifieds for a 6' by 3' snooker table, advantage being it is a solid base with...

Re: Building a Stadium

Re: Building a Stadium

try and avoid cardboard as it always warps, plastrut and k&s metals make useful pre formed sections, old fluorescent light diffusers make corrugated steel/acrylic sheeting, you are working in roughly 4mm to the foot scale, you can get steel rules ready calibrated, loads of good materials can be boug...
