Re: What does your other half think of your Subbuteo habit?

She told me to get a hobby and I've found one! But to be fair though she does tolerate me playing every other week at my loca...

Re: building a stadium

Spud,

Can you make a "Hen & Chicken" Style pub to go near the ground? It wouldn't be Ashton Gate otherwise!

Re: Danish SAS Liga vs Subbuteo

I play with either Zeugo's or LW's. I find the Zeugo's play well, a touch heavier than a LW but you can get good control and they chip well

Re: Cleaning an astropitch?

I tend to use a clothes brush as mine tends to get covered in cat hair (my cat has a tendancy to jump onto the pitch and steal a player mid game!).

Works for me, might work for you too!

I agree with adding wieght. Mine's been rolled up for 15 years and when i first took it out about 6 months ago it was curled up! Appllying some weight did the trick, should work for the creases

Re: Possible 50th Anniversary replica HW from hasbro in 2011

It is a shame but I enjoy playing with LW's equally as the HW (I grew up with LW so have played lots more with these figures). It's understandable if the production of figures is to be LW as the more costs can be kept down the more reasonably priced we could hope to pay

Re: Rugby Reference Gallery

Lloydie,

just wanted to say thanks for the Worcester team you painted a few months back. Everyone at my club has commented on the great paint job!

BTW they fitted into the Zeugo bases really well.

Re: Possible 50th Anniversary replica HW from hasbro in 2011

I've just picked up on this thread and can't believe how fantastic all of these ideas are! Having refound my love for Subbuteo some 6 months ago after a break of about 15 years not playing I can't beleive that there's still such enthusiasm for the game. Apart from the enthusiasts here, has anyone at...
