Did HWs go up this high reference wise ?

Not the greatest paint job either

thought 309 Iran was the highest seen? Surely everything by now was LW?

I'm wary of sellers who sell/have sold almost exclusively all high refs

I'd expect a genuine reference 350 (if one exists at such a high reference nunber) to sell for 300+.
So, somebody's either bought a super, super rare HW team for the princely sum of 145 quid or they've bought a repainted team from "faddes". I'm sure I've heard that name mentioned before.

If genuine, this team, in the HW figure would be much rarer than the New Southampton (i.e. the one in the stamped named box).
Carpet football sucks.

HW's generally went up to home international range ref 321. You do see the odd HW turn up in the 320's range. I have a Man City (sash) away.

In fact on Peter Upton' site you see occasional ones up to ref 359 but are as rare as rocking horse poo. So theoretically this could be in HW.

You do see HW's in the window boxes like this. However in my experience the tray on this is the later (flexible plastic) which is normally exclusively LW

As for the quality of paintwork i wouldn't read too much into that one way of the other. Machine printing LW were being mass produced by the time this team would have been done. The quality control wouldnt have been high on any handpainted teams.

It's also got a £1.70 price sticker attached to the box.
Were Heavies ever sold r.r.p. at this price ??
Certainly lightweights were.

as Pete Upton says they MIGHT be available up to 359, but they're just never seen.

Despite ebay's crap introduction of 'private' feedback years back, it IS still possible to track a good few items if you look hard enough....like this guy's recent purchase of an empty Hungary box which then re-appears with hey presto a Hungary team in it 2 mothns later ](*,) ](*,) :fist:

Never buy fro him.
The teams are always to neat, and always quite rare.
I think there is not good faith in this case.
