New Media, Main page?

With all the new media, from blog, mags, YouTube channels. etc. Is it worth having a main section under which mew media can post and sub thread create under. That was people can find that stuff from the main page?

It might be a case of getting the traffic up first - one of the many strenghs ,and yet paradoxically a weakness of this forum, has always been the amount of sections ? It is a strengh for those of us who have used the forum for years but I wonder if new users might find it easier just to look in the general section until they get a feel for the forum ? all of the different sections might just be a bit off-putting >
